A Japanese take-away lunch point by day, transforms into an American whiskey bar by night.
To introduce two entirely different concepts in one space was rarely heard of, and the task was equivalent to designing two projects.
We were excited to be able to fit two concepts into a modest, asymmetrical space at the basement of Ocean Financial Centre.

The Floral Atelier

Striking. Multifaceted. First of its kind.

The Floral Atelier @ Paragon is the flagship store and sister company for the prestigious The Wedding Atelier - now featured on BBC’s The Million Dollar Wedding Planner. When The Floral Atelier opened its first retail shop in the heart of Orchard Road (Paragon), we knew this flower-retail shop had to be the first of its kind. It’s location was a unique “Island concept” that allowed a 360- degree view of the space. Customers would be able to enter and see the entire space from all angles. Through all the data and analysis collected via countless conversations with the various stakeholders to understand its business, we created a space with various touch points to enhance the workflow operationally and aesthetically. The result was a multifaceted design that is both striking and inclusive.

Nouveau

NOUVEAU is a living room sofa designed for the modern Citysumer who resides in small spaces. NOUVEAU’s design features an untraditional steel structure that holds the cushions, allowing the sofa to be extremely flat. The side panel is made of eco-friendly, recycled material. The sofa can be customized to every individual’s preference, as the steel frame, cushions and side panels are all available in various colors. Simple button screws at the side panels allow the user to change the frame or design anytime.

NOUVEAU won a Merit Award in the Singapore Furniture Design Award 2013.
